The way you put the colours together is fantastic. The textures do not look like pasted over the image, they "go with the shapes". And your choice to build the frame in the same way as you built the spiral has a great impact on the composition - it looks like a very mature creation. There is so much to be found in the image that makes it go far beyond average quality...
