Description

Modeling/render: Strata 3D Pro 3.9 Post work: Ulead PhotoImpact 8 Lost of talk about how to use layered textures with efficient use of each layered texture's channels to fake HDRI-quality lighting in Strata of late. This image uses just such a technique without any other lights whatsoever... a bit more than just image based lighting... the light/color range I was able to achieve with this technique is much wider than a traditional GlowDome.
