Great job with the image. The foot prints and the shadows give a lot of detail to the picture. :o)

I love this picture. The lighting is perfect and works brilliantly with the excellent snow. The foreground trees and ferns etc. are also excellent and frame the couple and vista well. There are a couple of things that bother me slightly. One is the male figure. He looks a bit too much like a body-builder, and the pose is a little wooden IMHO. The second is the footsteps, which, along with the lengthy shadows I initially liked. On reflection though, they lack perspective and look as though they have just been stamped perpendicularly to the picture plane rather than being imprinted in the snow. Finally, I would lose the rabbit; he doesn't seem relevant to the rest of the image. That sounds like a lot of criticism - but don't get me wrong: I think you have created a wonderful mood with this piece and I could forgive a whole lot more for the quality of the composition, lighting, snow texture and that splendid foreground vegetation. Very well done.

Excellent image. I especially like the way the sun lights the scene. Ferns in winter are a bit strange to me though and like Flycatcher I'm not so fond of the rabbit and the perspective of the footprints. Don't get me wrong. Otherwise an excellent image. Wish I could do such a picture.
