This was my entry for the TerraWorlds contest: Theme "Dune". (Ranking 19..) I read the book so many times that the first thing that came into my mind was the cinnamon sky (and the sanddunes and rockformations of course). If you've read the book I hope you like the pic too. Thanks for viewing.

Excellent image, and the refernces to Dune are brilliant. Are those footprints I see (certainly no Fremen would leave them), and I can almost see a sandworm on his way to protect that spice. Great work!

Great picture, very nice colours and I like the detailed texturing. Especially the rock formation in the background looks very realistic!
