this is mighty revenge. You know, I can't fully understand what that means cos I have never experienced such a let down.. here I see the accuse shaped as that cold, uncaring light onto the surfaces. what I lke the most is that you didn't make the shapes "repulsive": taht would have been too obvious. You made them well.. but.. like..."average". Like you wanted to suggest these people were just..."average creatures" so not even deserving the status of horrid ones. This is what I like the most here. Your subtle cruelty towards them. Like Dante defining people of Pre Infernal.. not even dignified to be called "bad". Great work.

ignorant judges - they're all different and look as if they just accept themselves - even struggling among each other... and there's nothing to judge about but they seem to be busy... they wouldn't even recognize some "object" to judge about... they judge themselves and find themselves goot...
brilliant work

They're each a bit oddball, they each have their own faults or shortcomings, but as Meli commented above, you allowed them to be "normal" or "average", "typical" - which shows excellent restraint on your part and also puts you several cuts above any + or - they could offer anyway. That you have permitted your experience to become such an intriguing and expressive work of art says volumes about what they missed! Meli said it already, "this is mighty revenge."

I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of surreal art, but there's something about your style. technique and message that I find very attractive in your images. I sincerely look forward to seeing more and this is fine revenge indeed.

This is brilliant in and of itself, and the fact that you used the experience to learn something about yourself and your work is brilliant on a whole other playing field! (I think most people aren't self-confident or smart enough to use their disappointments to successfully create, learn and grow)

I love this!!! It looks like some kind of a surrealistic view of a kindergarten class... the playing, the fighting, the pandemonium, the childish behavior and the one kid who's smarter than the rest. Losing a competition sucks, because you didn't meet the jury's standards, which in retrospects means nothing at all, only that you didn't win the prize at that particular moment.

I wouldnt call them average, but unique and perfectly flawed, obvious at first glance. You put them in a Judge lest we be Judged atmosphere. When judging something that is not your own, but created by another, how does one judges struggle, compared to another? And by what is really important and gained by the outcome? acceptance or bitterness? How would the judges appear to If the result was favorable. The piece shows to me, an incredable amount of thought and provokes the onlooker to search for questions about ourselves and how we determine our own self judging. outstanding. you have been judged.

What do pathetic judges know...I mean really...your work is beyond being judged by your peers...just drop the ranking button all together and forget it! It will set you free to just enjoy the comments...+ or -...where ever they may fall.

WOW, I came a random route to this, wonderful! love the forms and the implied bickering, each form with its own character, vengence is thine!

I remember this from the time you posted it but am amazed I didn't comment back then... perhaps I wanted to reflect and come back to it, then forgot. Who knows, gonna make amends now ;-) This is already great Surrealism on a purely abstract level, but to know the story behind it adds layers of irony and insight. I agree with gallimel and syndroid. Got to agree though, with talent like this it makes me wonder about those judges... reminds me of a MOCA competition last year, I couldn't believe how crap the two runners-up were...

Perfect. Fully understand the frustration of the experience, can't wait for the next annoying results myself. Bravo.
