Hi there, hmm lets see.... my names Tristan im 21, ...err ok thats it.BIOive been using 3d (mainly maya) since around february 2003, after a doing a degree in genetics at aberystwyth university (wales) i was so fed up with science i wanted to try something completly different, im entirely self taught and still learning, :)

would have used fur but its far more trouble than its worth come rendertime, + already have a couple of cloth objects in the scene that are slowing things down :(, the main reason i made this guy was for an animation project so quick rendering is a must...

I think it looks claylike, making the hair on the character very appropriate in its presetation, and the fur would make it look off-putting. Also, what's he cookin'? I want some!

Lovely character! I personally think the upperlip is VERY big! Most of the time a moustach fills the height of the upperlip. Looks like he needs an even bigger moustach now :). He's really nice!
