During the years of perpetual dusk, Bella Morte wandered aimlessly around the lands. She fed on those she found by draining some of their blood into a container and drained those who would not survive during the night, regardless of the reason. Most Darkfolk left her alone. One look at her eyes was enough to dissuade them from pursuing a confrontation. As for those who chose to, either didn't stand a chance or put up a good fight and managed to inflict some injuries upon her. Mostly, Bella was in a haze that she ignored what was happening around her, however, it seemed like she was searching for someone. For the duration of the dark years, she never found whomever it was. It was during these years she had closed her mind to the point that I couldn't hear her thoughts or even sense her feelings. [I have surprised myself by actually being concerned about her. This is not my style. Why should this person, over all the others on all the worlds I have looked upon, matter to me? I decided to interfere.
