A coastal relic living in Campbell River, BC., rattling around the beaches and the bush. Hobbies are anything nautical, unsuccesful prospecting and treasure hunting, gardening and photography. Have built and operated 5 commercial salmon/log salvage boats, and still love playing with tools, and messing about in boats.BIO"I have often thought in all the world, The saddest thing to be; Old admirals that feel the wind, But never put to sea." Al Stewart, fron Past, Present, and Future. After a lifetime of fishing, beachcombing,(log salvage) and generally messing about, health issues have put me on the beach for good. You never completely get the salt water out of your veins, though. This gallery gives me a chance to fish some memories out of shoe boxes and share them, something that's rapidly becoming another hobby. I began fishing for money at age 11, 6 if you count trading rockcod for popsicles. I hope you enjoy my reminiscing.
