Description
Chronos is the Incarnation of Time, who derives his power from his mighty hourglass and his diaphanous white cloak. He lives his life backwards from everyone, including the other Incarnations. He is sentenced to live his days in his office alone, however, by turning the colour of the hourglass sands green, he can interact the other way for short periods of time. Other colours of the sand include blue for forward, red for backwards, and black to make time stand still. White represents the continuance of his own time. He is said to have the most powerful magical item amongst all of the Incarnations, as well as posessing the artifact Sning, who is a small snake ring given to him by Orlene.
Chronos assumes his office by chosing to accept the hourglass of his predecessor (who is in everyone else's future) as he passes it along. Chronos is also immune to paradox.
Second in a series of 8, which will consist of: Thanatos, Chronos, Fate, Mars, Gaea, Satan, God and Nox. Inspired by the series The Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony.
