Tough subject...been there w/ my mom more years ago than I still can count. Sad how those memories get pushed to the farthest reaches of our consciousness but still remain. -jay

Very sad But remarkably well thought out and done. Excellent poses and expressions! I hear that tune on the radio and it makes me wonder and hope I'm walking as stright as i can for my little ones, because I know they watch my every step

Very thought provoking and sad. Wonderful work that shows how parents can affect their children. I am thankful my parents were always so supportive of me and were always there for me. They are both gone now, and I still miss them so very much.

Ohhhh.....this is just heartbreaking, hon. It evokes a lot of feelings that I thought were dead and buried with my past. Breathtaking emotion, I am in awe.

I agree with all of the above sentiments...but I must also point out that even through the worst of it,his son still loves his daddy.Great work Lora...a top pic in my book and the M2 character certainly is far more impressive than the M3 version you scrapped--just looks so much more real and manly!!!Adding this to my favorite images and you finally got my vote lol!

I don't know what else to say except that your image is very exceptional! Unfortunately it depicts reality a little too often... :(

Sad and moving, a reality for far too many children. You've captured it so painfully well.

Sad situation, and truly a statement to the problem. Kudos for a meaningful (and well rendered) piece of art...
