That face with those eyes totally captivates me. Your composition goes direct to my heart, gives me so much to think about (even now when I see children on their way too school, I shiver)

the things we do to beauty in our art and literature have already been done to it by other people in real life :/

Anxiously naive eyes? Brainwashed to conform? Her right eyeball reflection with the rectangles bring to mind regimentation. I can't make out her left eye. I get a lot of impressions, and that's why this is an excellent piece. I love it!

it's awesome to see you and your art back. I missed this kind of contributions to this gallery very much.Depth is such a rare skill and you have loads of it.

one of the things that occured to me while doing this, as the eyes of a child, the left eye see a typical C-section, a babies arm appearing from its mother, being forced into the world, and the right eye is a closed door, that signifies to me something wanted and not attainable. the bloody nose represents the brutality endured thru what ever circumstances occured and the classroom behind her reminds us of our first nieve impressions of the world. I like to show after the fact what i envisioned and read first what was thought without my impressions. to each they take what they will from my scenes.
