Description

I know, I know, this is not a normal BRYCE image - after all the postwork in Picture Publisher and Dogwaffle 1.6 and some Flaming Pear Filters, this is more a MIXED MEDIUM image ! On the other hand, I would like to show, what you can do with BRYCE, a lot of work and inspiration -the goal was, to do an image with reminds you of one of the " OLD " artists I admire so much - I don`t think I can do any better and I do hope you like it as much as I do - ENJOY !!

I am so astonished, I hardly know what to say! This is the most beautiful thing you have done!! The soft coloring and haze in just the right places are wondrous, and even the tiniest details have been wrought with great care and love! The colors in the sky and clouds only a master could produce. This could be displayed in the finest museum. Congratulations, sir!, on an outstanding image!!

Excellent pic - I am in complete agreement with your comments. Whilst I don't want to take away anyone's satisfaction in using Bryce or Vue or Poser as a stand alone program - I think they all benefit from the right amount of post work. Nick

i just thought your last one was the best of you, but this is even better, or as good as the last, or the one before - jesus, all of yours are outstanding - oh besides, good idea to show the bryce people what can be done with bryce if you use it as tool and not only as main programm - ok ok, lots of talent are needed too :-) - and now only one question, as i know you use in all of your pics this flaming pear filters, ok i know now you will think i am a dump, but what to hell is a flaming pear filter?????????? maybe you can answer me this question one day :-) - now again - this is a most beautiful artwork what you have created here - all my respect to you, your immagination is just superb - a vote and my best whishes to you

An idea: please show the original Bryce render and the progress with postwork on one pic with 4-6 or more thumbs in it (or something like that); it would be inspiring to see how you achieved this wonderful result.

I agree with j-art, I really think packages such as Bryce and Poser should be used as sources for further development rather than as complete tools, as they can't be expected to deliver in all aspects. I disagree with the "purists" who don't believe in postwork as, good as these packages are, they obviously are designed to compliment other packages every bit as much. I just think good images are good images, and they should be made by whatever means, whatever works for the creativity. People really don't have a right to judge others this way, and I say if it works do it. Another fine image here :-)
