silence - a poem... here the poem: Nature - the Gentlest Mother is, Impatient of no Child- the feeblest - or the waywardest- Her Adamnition mild- I Forest- and the Hill- By Traveller - be heard- Restraining Rampnat Squirrel- Ot too impetous Bird- How fair Her Conversation- A Summer Afternoon- Her Household - Her Assembly- And When the Sun go down- Her voice among the Aisles Incite the timid prayer Or the minutest Cricket- The most unworthy Flower- When all the Children sleep- She turns as long away As will suffice to light Her lamps- Then bending from the Sky- With infinite Affection- And infinite live- Her golden finger an Her lips- Will Silence - Everywhere- (Emily Dickinson (1863)) thanks for viewing... -christian chinese ink/ink on paper

Very well done, Christian! As someone who loves lettering, I really like the very natural appearance you've given this. As if Emily wrote it, then decorated the page on an artsy whim. It has a look like it really could have happened that way. :)
