Hi! The foregound's a bit too flat, I think. Don't want to be arrogant, but please have a look at my pic "The fighting Wizard" at http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=516091&Start=1&Artist=Babelfisch&ByArtist=Yes It's a very similar scene. The lights do a lot. I would be happy if my intentions could improve the scene you've built. Best regards, Jn

Babelfisch, thanks for the comments, but I was trying for something different than you thought. I've seen many wonderful images done using only silhouettes against a colorful sky and wished to try one myself. I'm quite happy with the result, though I realize that it could be much better. We all have to start somewhere though. I usually play a lot with lights and shadows and it was rather difficult not having them to help create depth. Thanks again for the comments and offer though. :)

Beautiful!
Snow_Angel
Nice work! Very serene scene and a wonderful sky and sun :)
SNAKEY
This is an excellent render. I think I understand what babel is talking about at the same time what Nicholas says is true too. It sure is diff in it'w own way and perfect as is. To me it appears as if the horse and the rider are on the edge of a cliff sorta , looking down at the valley. The Sun sure shines out well in this one. Beautiful. :)
azaghot
lightning is excellent
vasquez
i think the contrast is perfect!
zakalwe
tell me the sky is not made with bryce! great composition
Nicholas_Bostaph
Thanks for all the compliments everyone :). Zakalwe, the sky was rendered in Terragen. I slapped it onto a huge cube in Bryce and threw it off way in the distance. Brycian skies seem so flat to me. :(

I love silhouette work, and your clouds are impressive and rare!
