Description

Forgive the quality of this pic, it was taken quickly and not in the best conditions just because I saw how weird it was. I was reading and saw a small bug crawling on the book. I have no clue what was on its back (or if it was its back)! This is a 100% crop of the picture taken sharpened drastically (it was a 15s. exposure, and with such a small subject, it wasn't as sharp as it could be) and colors touched up quite a bit. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this very weird picture! [Next Image] [Previous Image]

Originally they come from a planet near Proxima Centauri. From your description, I'd say this is a scout - small - unobtrusive. The Warrior caste is several orders of magnitude larger, fearless, and violent. Beware! (Great Shot! Whatever it is it's weird and creepy.)

Interesting shot and creature. I have no idea what it is. I wonder if the thing on its back is where the babies are hatched from. Looking at the thumb, I thought it was a piece of popcorn.
