Description

Mars, with moons Phobos (Fear) and Deimos (Panic). An very simple experiment with negative lighting. Question for the Renderosity community: suggestions on improving an atmosphere look?

there's not much atmosphere to speak of..mostly, what..argon and carbon dioxide? maybe just a slight rose edge to the edge of the planet (actually, more salmon or pink, as I remember)...all this needs is one of Bambam's ships..;) like the idea that you got the moon's shapes correct.

Very accurate as to looks, but Phobos and Deimos would never be that close to each other and both would be much closer to Mars. Be that as it may, sometimes a picture doesn't have to be "accurate," and this one certainly doesn't need to be.

It's been a while since you posted this, but if you have not found a suitable atmos effect, you can find one in the PhotoShop plugin Eyecandy. It's a bit pricey, $300 or $400 I think, but is has many, many other offerings. This is great though, Just Like It Is!!
