Description

Just restocking my Gallery. This was the third picture that I did in Vue, but I don't think it came out too bad. I'd like to dedicate it to Davy Knox (madasatadpole) for his original encouragement, for being a generally great bloke, and because he liked this picture the first time round. **Credits** Whole mountain texture by bloodsong form free area here. Rest Vue 4.12.

Excellent water. I also love the distant mountain. Trees are superb and the terrain on the right side well lit. Maybe a little bit too much ambient IMHO, but otherwise really great.

A lovely tribute! That water looks stunning, the reflection of the eagle is very nice. I also like the way you've created depth perspective with the hazy distant mountain. Very well done!

Nice sense of depth ... it gives the viewer the sense that they share the same freedom of movement that the eagle has. I love the texturing on the banks. Very pretty image. :-)

I find some of the distant tree work to be quite excellent for one so new to the software. You are already developing a "touch".

Love the way the lay of the river gives a feeling of many twists and turns. Your background really holds the eye and is not just another attempt to fill the space. Personally I hate working with the dreaded horizon line.
