Hi there, hmm lets see.... my names Tristan im 21, ...err ok thats it.BIOive been using 3d (mainly maya) since around february 2003, after a doing a degree in genetics at aberystwyth university (wales) i was so fed up with science i wanted to try something completly different, im entirely self taught and still learning, :)

The glasses should probably refract a little more. An important part of good animation is the eyes. Although entirely possible, it tends to be a bit more difficult to pull it off when the character has glasses and such. Same goes with the mouth. Looks good though.

cheers all, i chose very minimal refraction on the glasses so they wouldnt obscure his eyes, + he has very animated and expressive eye brows, which is just as good for telling mood as the eyes. ive rendered a couple of test animations just to check everythings moving as it should, http://flak3d.topcities.com/anim.htm

This guy is SO interesting and cool. I just wish I could see his eyes a little more. I'd love to see the animation when it's done!
