Description
I painted this entirely in Photoshop 6. The pic was based on a prodction drawing done by the conceptual artist Ralph McQuarrie who worked on the original starwars films and was responsible for, quite simply, taking starwars out of George Lucas's head and sticking it onto paper.

The Light Streaks, though they serve to impart a sense of speed, detract from the clarity of the image. However, I prefer my starships laden with ultra-crisp details, so others will disagree with me.
