Description

Here's my computer and desk. Took 4 hours to render and over 1 week to model. Phew Comments (good or bad) always welcome. Stranger Aeons

What a totally cool idea this is! And I mean to say that this looks about as "real" gets, even without being "real", if that makes any sense, LOL! Negative comments? No way-- this is superb!

excellent! modeling is superb. just one thing, it seems to me as if the keyboard is floating in the air?

My keyboard really does look like that. Honest Snipey. Because I don't have much desk space I've had to remove the keyboard's wrist rest. In reality there are two flaps under the keyboard that raise it off the desk. They are there, you just can't see them from this angle.

Wow! I'd bet my life that this was a photo. Right down to the power strip and the labels on the adapters. Wonderful, wonderful job! Jeez the mouse pad, too! And the "kinks" in the wires. It doesn't get better than this!

Amazing work, i can see how much work went into this, emmm did you really use lightwave on a monitor that size must tough on your eyes. Great render you must have used radiosity.

Ha, you caught me nick. The 15" monitor is from my older system. I use a larger iiyama 17" on my rendering machine. It's a great monitor but a bit ugly. Too much of a square box to model in lightwave. :)

Not sure I understand what you mean about the mouse and printer.??? The printer is an old Epson Stylus Photo. The mouse is an Intellimouse Pro. Both were 100% modelled by me in Lightwave.

Xcellent image! I've considered selling my life to get lightwave. Can you give me an estimate of hours you spent on this render? I still use my epson stylus photo by the way..

Nevermind the computer modeling, everyone's already raved about that, but the powerstrip and plugs! the attention to detail on the back of the power adaptor! the tool bar on the wacom tablet! the little clock face! and let's not leave out the metal strip for the adjustable shelf! Brilliant modeling! Excellent work!
