Description

Image drawn from a lil lake nestled in the Camas Prarie HighCountry. Note: this was mainly a test image for camera elevation, but figured I would post it anyways.. comments welcome...

Well, I have always liked that stream-eroded look you captured! IMHO.. the green colors look a little painted on & too light. For this lighting, maybe darken them some? & defractalize?

These landscapes don't look real, and yet they do. I can't explain it. I like the fractalization, by the way.

I like this terrain. The green is IMHO a bit too strong and needs more bump. Very nice pic anyway!

Me again. I'd say the colouring problem comes from a too light foreground. The eye seeks the middle ground but has to fight its way there. At least the struggle makes the picture's title! those peaks too might pull the eye more with slightly more dramatic shadows. (Well, the picture has been around some while now, so these ridiculous crits should be water off a duck's back. I hope so.) Cliff.
