Description

I worked on this for what seems like forever. I think I was just fighting it the entire time. I still didn't get it to do what I wanted, but I thought I would post it for your opinions. Thanks so much.

Your hard work really paid off. Shallow water scenes aren't commonly done, and yours is very realistic. You got the quality of light, the degree of underwater "haze," and those fantastic caustic effects just right.

Just the kind of vue I'd like to be able to create;perfect lights and shadows. Just one modest remark: the boat looks too new.

The lighting is perfect the more you put in the more you get out. I think you did an EXCELLENT job.

Nice job, really like the lighting and caustics in this. You might want to consider lowering resolution of your image posts...460k takes a long time on dialup!!!

Wow! This is really nice! I love how the light reflecting form the surface ripples on the sandy sea floor. Awesome and realistic underwater lighting/color. Excellent image!

I know what ya mean when you say fighting, underwater scenes are a strain on my processor. Hard to do composites to see what you have. I like the water and the lighting effect, very nice.

The best part about it is the water surface and its reflections. Very good. Looks like under water. The worst is the coral. Also, there is too much of an environment mix. You have mangrove in the background, a rock bed associated with cliffed or volcanic coasts, and coral reef, all within a span of 50 feet. The apparantly man-made object is distracting in that it's hard to know what it is. A sunken boat would be just a guess.
