Description

Trying to remain undetected the princess would sneak down the back stairway of the castle to meet her peasant love. I know my gown is not to good. I've only started teaching myself nurbs modeling this week and I need to find some good tuts that can answer some questions. Lots of questions...lol

The only plugin used was firestorm for the torch flames. All the models and textures are done by me except for the p4 women mesh and the Alice hair mesh and hair texture. Not good enough to build them yet. The girls texture is mine.

I like the textures on the wall and the 'face' on the side of the table (legs). The dress looks pretty good to me. You mentioned NURB tuts... http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/tutorials/max/modelnurbs/modelnurbs.asp (hate to ad' other places, but nice tut)

I don't know anything about nurbs, but the gown would look more realistic if the material had a vertical wave to it (similar to how curtains fall)and if it were a little more transparent. Most gowns are made of a flowy material that isn't opaque. I think the castle walls look great, especially with the torch light. Great image!
