Description

Hello everybody, yes, it is long ago since my last image - although I still use bryce5 to express my thoughts I also tried out to make some photos of my city to give people impression of where I live. This image show the Radiostation "bit eXpress" which broadcasts shows&music for students at Erlangen University. At this event - which is the first one here - some educational institutions and other companies show interesting informations around science and inventions :) This image was taken at "Fraunhofer IIS" - It is a kind of organization where students develop new stuff and this organization is supported by the economy (companies). At this institute also the MP3 Codec (for music) was developed - yeah - really, no joke... You see the microphone? The DJ (a student, but I do not know exactly?) opened it for a while and asked the visitors to say something - first no one tried, then my father said some "hello" - I first also did not know, but if I should say somethin then: nice dreams... The image was taken with new camera my father bought a Canon 300D - I want to share the solution of this camera, cause it offer some 6 million pixels. And after I tried out cameras with 3 and 4 million pixels I think cameras with 6 million can in some ways be compared with normal cameras - but it will take some more years in the development of digital cameras to be at the same level or nearly at the same level... Below you find some more details info about this image (interesting for professionals probably?): Make - Canon Model - Canon EOS 300D DIGITAL Orientation - Top left XResolution - 180 YResolution - 180 ResolutionUnit - Inch DateTime - 2003:10:25 19:45:56 YCbCrPositioning - Centered ExifOffset - 196 ExposureTime - 1/15 seconds FNumber - 4.00 ISOSpeedRatings - 100 ExifVersion - 220 DateTimeOriginal - 2003:10:25 19:45:56 DateTimeDigitized - 2003:10:25 19:45:56 ComponentsConfiguration - YCbCr CompressedBitsPerPixel - 3 (bits/pixel) ShutterSpeedValue - 1/15 seconds ApertureValue - F 4.00 ExposureBiasValue - 0.00 MaxApertureValue - F 4.00 MeteringMode - Multi-segment Flash - Not fired FocalLength - 27 mm UserComment - FlashPixVersion - 100 ColorSpace - sRGB ExifImageWidth - 3072 ExifImageHeight - 2048 InteroperabilityOffset - 2366 FocalPlaneXResolution - 3443.95 FocalPlaneYResolution - 3442.02 FocalPlaneResolutionUnit - Inch SensingMethod - One-chip color area sensor FileSource - DSC - Digital still camera CustomRendered - Normal process ExposureMode - Auto WhiteBalance - Auto SceneCaptureType - Standard Maker Note (Vendor): - Macro mode - Off Self timer - Off Quality - Fine Flash mode - Not fired Sequence mode - Single or Timer Focus mode - AI Focus Image size - Large Easy shooting mode - Manual Digital zoom - None Contrast - High , +1 Saturation - High , +1 Sharpness - High , +1 ISO Value - 100 Metering mode - Evaluative Focus type - Auto AF point selected - Exposure mode - Program Focal length - 18 - 55 mm Flash activity - Not fired Sequence number - 0 White Balance - Auto Image Type - IMG:EOS 300D DIGITAL JPEG Firmware Version - Firmware Version 1.0.2 Camera Serial Number - 570004039 Image Number - 1010174 Owner Name - Peter W Nierzwicki thanks anyway, david.
