BIOHmm...well, I guess I'll start by saying that I am new to Poser and Photoshop, but I've dabbled with PaintShop Pro for a few years now.
I have a terrible habit of starting scenes/paintings, and not finishing them. =/ However, there are now a few people who give me gentle, and not so gentle, nudges to get me going. To those people, I thank you so much!!
I'm always looking for helpful advice and suggestions, so please feel free to IM or e-mail any that you may have. =)

Wow! I certainly didn't expect such positive comments, thank you. =) Armorbeast, yes this is my first completed "painting". I have three images on my web site that are from my very first attempt at Poser, but that beauty is far from finished. =P

That mischevious expression on her face is priceless. I'm glad you entered this into the challenge and look forward to seeing more of your talent. If this is beginner work we're in for a real treat!

Very impressive for a debut image. I salute you for restraining yourself from posting until you attained an image of this quality. Nice job on the globe, it took me a long time to get a satisfactory effect from a globe prop. Suggestions--though others seem to like the facial expression, to me, the right cheek appears slightly distorted. I'd also like to see more distance between the trees, to allow the moon to dominate the image more.

You've done a really good job on this image. But as per your forum request for some suggestions, I'll just point out one thing you may or may not care to think about... the cat is a cool addition to the scene, but I would reduce the specularity on his fur? He looks like he has skin and not fur. It would look more realistic perhaps if you reduced the glare from the fire on the cat and added some kind of hair map to it. Impressive first post though.
