I have been playing with Poser5 for about a year now. I still don't have the resources to create my own original models, textures, etc. but so far I have learned to modify existing ones.BIOMy artistic development started with sketching, and gradually branched out to other media, from paint, to sculpture, to digital. Currently I do alot of my artwork in Adobe Illustrator. I haven't completely mastered the program yet but I know enough to get around what I don't know.
I use two styles, one I'd describe as "abbreviated realism" and the other is more manga/anime inspired. I prefer fantastic subjects over the mundane, and most of my works appear illustrative as I have never had much luck with detailed backgrounds.

Wonderful!!! Excellent PoV, colours, and lighting! It really does feel like she's under the water. And that stare is captivating! Great work! :)

thats some nice work with some nice textures, not enough underwater scenes round here.is it a bryce render, just wondering how you got the hand reflecting on the ball and that nice light trough the water effect
Pyromancer
It is actually a Poser 5 Firefly render... the shadows and the reflection are ray tracing. I'm slowly coming round to liking the firefly renderer even though it's slow as heck and tends to fuzz up the textures a bit, I just use postwork to combine P4 and Firefly renders together to get the best attributes of each. ^_^

You ought to give the webbed fingers/toes version a shot!

Planescape? Really? I don't recall creatures like these being included or mentioned in the game. But I guess inspiration comes in all kinds of forms. :) Very great image. It has nice shading and soft mood.
