Description
Another Planescape inspired piece... Water Genasi are the descendents of a Marid or other water elemental spirit and a mortal race. They may have fine scales on their skin and/or webbed fingers and toes, or other physical remnants of their elemental heritage. As proud and aloof as the other Genasi types, most also exemplify one personality trait to the extreme. Able to breathe water as well as air, they often live among other aquatic races.
This one could easily be a Sea Elf as well ;>.

thats some nice work with some nice textures,not enough underwater scenes round here.is it a bryce render,just wondering how you got the hand reflecting on the ball and that nice light trough the water effect

It is actually a Poser 5 Firefly render... the shadows and the reflection are ray tracing. I'm slowly coming round to liking the firefly renderer even though it's slow as heck and tends to fuzz up the textures a bit, I just use postwork to combine P4 and Firefly renders together to get the best attributes of each. ^_^

Planescape? Really? I don't recall creatures like these being included or mentioned in the game. But I guess inspiration comes in all kinds of forms. :) Very great image. It has nice shading and soft mood.
