Description

Another Oyster river shot, from the lower reaches. The channel between the trees is a man made rearing channel for coho salmon. They spend a year in fresh water before going to the ocean. The channel is designed with deep, cool pools, rapids to keep enough oxygen in the water, and places to hide from the herons and kingfishers. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
