You begin developping your own kind of style; just a proposal: why don't you add some more (dark) green to the flat areas? Would be an eyecatching contrast to the sandstone-colored terrain...

excellent terrain and surface, the strata might have some opportunities to be enhanced (what about a strata mask corresponding to the graphic to get different bumpines according to ground layers?)
