Description
This is a small part of the poster Bruce and I made for the upcoming Italian film USTICA.
On June 27, 1980 an italian passenger DC9 was shot down over the island of USTICA in the mediterranean. All 77 passengers + 9 crew members perished.
The Italian government kept this a secret and told everyone that the DC9 had simply crashed due to a malfunction.
In fact, there was a Russian Mig involved, a USA phantom also, and an Israeli Mirage too.
Who accidentally shot down the DC9 ?
This film reveals the truth.

COOL! - professional quality work!, the effects, colours, and rendering are super, but the composition is not as strong as it could be IMO. also, the text 'TARGET DESTROYED' would be reversed given that its a reflection from the HUD. :)

Outstanding! This just screams "movie poster" or "Book Cover" to me.

Gino and I undertook this project for a film producer in Italy, whom by the way is making a movie of the incident. We were charged with creating a poster for the production and this is a rendition of the finished product. The poster is much more detailed, but for posting reasons we left out the production credits so that most of the image could shine through.
