Description
When they cried out their anguish
and their pain, you turned head
and refused to hear..
When they stumbled and fell, you
turned you head, and refused to see..
And when injustice was spoken against
them, you turned your head and refused
to speak for them..
What then, is the measure by which
you judge yourself?

Makes you wonder, how a person comes to that point in life, seems like the inner voice leaves the body for a time and all that matters then is the I or Me Syndrome, Picture & Words are excellent food for thought Barbara...

In my home is a wood piece I burned, that I have carried around for years, it states the real adage..judge not lest ye be judged.Your art and poetry speaks of the same. You touch me my friend and I am glad to see you spread your wings.Beautiful!!

Interesting, very strong image. While the angel has outstretched arms, the woman is kind of in a protective, self absorbed posture. Is judgement by a higher power inevitable? Does it exist at all? If we are aware of our failings and insensitivies to others do we not pass judgement on ourselves by recognizing them? I don't know, but you really got me thinking so you did a really fine job on several levels here.

Powerful image and poem. Yes, we have to judge ourself in the end. But then we understands...
