Description

Over a year ago I was taking cyclorama photos for Halloween and went to a 200 year old cemetery behind a church near my home. The cemetary has been closed for about 75 years but I climbed a wall to get in. I took this hamless photo and had it on my hard drive ever since. But look in the window. I noticed this when I went to convert the image to a cyclorama texture and was so creeped out I stopped. I never used any of the pics from this shoot. What is that making the face in the window" Why is it looking at the camera? What is lighting the face or object making the shape? This image is completely original and untouched except for the blow up portion. Regards, Anton

It might be that the human brain excels at pattern recognition and any more or less random pattern that even remotely resembles the familiar, e.g., a human face, our brains readily interpret (recognize) as such. Or ... it might just be ... a Ghost!

It is spooky, but I can hazard an explanation. The ghost was formed by a patern of the tree leaves, reflecting off the glass. The ghost may partly be leaves, partly space where there are no leaves, I don't know. The lighting from "behind" it could be reflected light from outside. That's my best guess.
