Characturing animals is nothing new at all in art/advertising but its a good interesting theme to tackle. This pic is one of my most successful Im very fond of this pic even to this day. I used a lot of different media to create it, the background was airbrushed as were base colors on the three dinosaurs. Subsequent layers of tone and shadow were then added with acrylic and all detail was added with either coloured pencil or pastel.Id love to return to this kind of illustration as it is simply fun to do and appeals to so many people, if i can find the right 3d package ill probably get stuck into it again as all three dinosaurs just ooze character.
