Description

UF3 & Bring it in. Doesnt much look 'fractal-ish' at all, though it does contain fractal layers. Just playing around with Bring it in, and turned out this nice image of a flower ( actually using the picture as a C.A on a Pixel formula ) which in turn is smoothed and coloured with a couple of pixel layers using S.F.B.M. Some minor postwork, which i never normally do, but should probably practise. Just an experiment :) Thanks for looking.

A very beautiful rose and an equally beautiful presentation. I love the soft look and the almost monochrome coloring. I also like the background, it's perfect for the rose!

Once again, something like this demonstrates how closely fractals can come to helping us understand nature's fundamental structures. After all, each petal on a rose can be considered a fractal which re-iterates its form, with slightly different positioning and slight differences for each. Even the elegant spiral inward (or outward, if you prefer) is also fractal-like.
So combining the image with a fractal background and treatment is a lovely addition to a vision of the universe. Brava!

May not be that "fractal-ish" but it sure is PRETTY! The coft sfbm texture softens the rose very nicely. Nice one, Kim!

I totally agree with Rosemary, and find it a very 'appropriate' use and terminology. Nice. :)
