watercolours of grace falling from your fingers,
embrace me,
light that protects and shows the way in darkness,
light that makes find what's mattering inside,
that suggests there's no end till the hope won't vanish.
You came and all seemed clear,
you came and suddenly I felt your love so near.
Images of heavens,
memories of battles,
and present and future and past
sneakin always to tease us off:
you teach me everyday
what's mattering outside
in my days
when I feel not ready to walk,
in my world, that you're always part of.
Embrace me with your light that
is all made of love:
keep showing me the way
with your wings
you so graciously spread unfold.
From your sweet face,
from your wisdom and force,
from your hand you lend
that I always grasp and call,
I keep receiving gems,
and wonderful insights,
I keep receiving warmth,
I keep receiving light.
Reality is perception you say
and yours is a magic one.
Reality can be good
if you keep glitterin our ways out.
And I'll be with you and you'll be with me:

your pure spirit within my dreams

that links us beyond
the days we're gonna spend,

This hymn is for my beloved Cassie, aka crrunchyfrog. But as you see... and although her art is in itself enough reason for celebrate her,(she's the best watercolourist around, but she indeed can handle ANY medium of art), you see from my portrait that she's for me more than an artist. She's an example of life.
Alongside Synapse she's the greatest gift this site let me find and discover,and I am happy they linked as well between themselves the way I linked with each of them.Cassie is the strongest, and yet most delicate person I have ever got the privilege to meet.I can't say more than this for respect of her privacy, but knowing all she had and still have to face in her life, I still astonish myself everyday for the pure liveliness, and the uncorrupted love and respect and hope she keeps feel for every day she has spent here, towards people and towards the world as a whole.To me she's an hymn to life and love in herself.
An example of moral, of care and understanding.
When people use to call me "angel" here, and she does as well, I feel so undeserving of the title first and foremost cos SHE is the one who should be called so.I have not a millionth of her force nor of her loving care... My aim is to learn how to be like her.I couldn't name nor hope nor think of a better way to be.
Her art, of visual refined atmospheres and awesome delicate technique has the same force she has. And I wish every single one of you could have a contact with her for being inspired to the best side of life the way I have got the immense luck of.
For everything you represent, for your endless rich soul that you grace me to know and love... thank you Cassie.
You're the Light,after Air, Fire, Earth and Water. And without you this place for me couldn't be as shining as you only can make reality be.And as I read about your computer troubles and your low mood today, I am happy to surprise you this way.

Honey, I couldn't agree more. I've been on a bit of a low ebb in the last few days and as I've been chatting with her this last hour or two, she's lifted me up just with her presence and the empathy we share, even though she's the other side of the world. I don't think I know of a more beautiful person. In fact it was a good thing you posted this when you did Meli, because she was literally just about to sign off and go to bed, she's so tired... now Matt's got up and she's showing him :-)
Thank you Meli for creating this dedication, and I don't think I've ever read a more beautiful poem from you. Thank you both for your friendship, I don't know where I'd be heading without you group hug ... probably a self-perpetuating spiral L ;-)
