Every modeling method has their strong points. Ultimately, it's up to the user to decide which works best for them. I personally prefer point by point modeling for organic, fluid models. Personally (and this is just me) I would have taken a different approach with this type of rendering. It looks good, don't get me wrong. I just think it could have been done quicker with box modeling and a few extrudes here and there. Just out of curiosity, what part was textured with BP?

point to point modelling? also ich hab die erfahrung gemacht, das sich dies nur in bestimmten flen lohnt. bei den formen die du benutzt hast, wst du mit extrudes sicher schneller ans ziel gelangt. ansonsten finde ich dein bild sehr ansprechend. anstelle der hdri hte ich eine konventionelle beleuchtung bevorzugt (also viele lichter, bzw. einen lichterteppich) um mehr dynamik zu erzeugen. knte mir das bild gut in der dmerung mit ein paar fackeln aussen an der burg vorstellen. auf jeden fall: weiter so!

point to point habe ich bis auf die treppe und die zinne verwendet...ging ziemlich fix aber is doch wurscht, das ergebnis zlt!

The brickwork texture seem a little off on the turrets (doesn't match up). A few crumpled wall models would be nice (too perfect and square).
