I think you are off to a great start. If it was me.....I think I would put some plants and twigs close to the front and large. That will push your forest into the back giving it depth. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.

Agree with Ckilmer, more ferns, twigs,butterfly as such in foreground, also noticed texture seams, on trunks,and chunk missing from 2nd tree, maybe a lerger tex,else paint the seams over in post work, otherwise a fantastic image. congrats.++

Great job on this, love the pov and colors. A bit of postwork would fix the blocky texturing on the trunks. Agree that some more plants and stuff in foreground would help.

I like the softness of the image and your bark texture is excellent. There may be a bit of a matching situation on the foreground tree perhaps tiling the x or y plane on the bark picture may help this beautiful scene.
