Slightly disturbing to have his lower face lost in shadow. Otherwise well done, the figure and background look very natural. Love the twigs in his hair, too. :)

There's something about your work that strikes a chord within me that I find hard to express. First, I find the blending between character and scene and the use of environmental color striking in it's softness. The second thing that hits me like a ton of bricks is your ability to broach so many different types of subject matter and add your own sense of movement and style. I must say that I'm my own favorite artist, but when I grow up artistically, I'd love to paint like you. Thanks for being such a great inspiration Will.
