Description

I have a few more shots similar to this one. I like them all for different reasons but I think this will be the last one I post for a while. Experts believe this tree to be up to 800 years old. In 1998 it finally blew over from the centuries of relentless high winds. The townsfolk erected it right away. There are metal clamps that are visible on the roots in the Road Trip#5 shot.

The dramatic tree in juxtaposition with the idyllic background is just irresistible. Definitely a vote. Dont you just love those pink little clouds... :)

Wonderful picture. I love the way you set up the foreground and the mountain in front of the sunset that has almost faded to night. The sky has an ominous feeling which I think makes the photo. GJ!
