Description

An element illustration I created for an upcoming Coors Beers calendar. The image is to accompany the notion that 'the way to a man's heart is via his beer'! ;) I attempted a couple of different methods to model the heart shaped vessel, primarily with splines etc, but when it came to it, I found the easiest and quickest way was in good old box modelling and a hypernurb! :) The glass heart, bubbles (thinking particles), beer shader are all self made in Cinema, the beer froth is composited in post. Cheers! :)

Very nice image. How did you make the foam, I would really like to know. One note though; it seems on some areas polygons are visable (like the Phong tag hasn't been used. Especially in the center of the image towards the top and bottom of the heart and also on the right. Maybe these are just jpeg artefacts.

Thanks guys! - Rirad - the foam is photographic composited between multipass layers. The artefacts you noticed are indeed jpg related! :)
