Description

This is Muslims' second holiest masjid, Masjid Al-Aqsa in Qudus(Jerusalem). I've modelled the masjid in Rhino looking at a few photographs i've found on the net. Our prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) has made his journey to Allah the Almighty from this masjid. I dedicate this picture to anyone (muslim or not) in Renderosity and pray to God to live in this world in peace and serenity regardless of our different religions and faiths. hmm..I don't know enough about Jerusalem's geography, but the city was over a thousand years old by then. I think there were probably a few more building around.. but it doesn't detract from the fantastic artwork. I beleive this is where Muhammed ascended into Heaven..the imprint of his horse is on one of the rocks inside..if I have that right.
