My entry for the "Out of Vue" challenge. You were supposed to show "unseen places."
Cave and bones were modeled in Anim8or and Z-Brush. I originally had more water falling across the mouth of the cave, but it looked too cluttered. And I suck at modelling water!
I might try another version of this, deep underground...

You should add more shadows between the bones, like you did at the right side. It adds depth to the cave. Now it looks too flat. I'm also confused about what's on the other side of the cave. Is it a waterfall or does it just stop there? That doesn't look right when I look at the mountains and everything else in the background, but that's just my personal opinion. The sky looks good, the mountains, the water and it's reflections and a nice touch is the addition of the bird. The best thing is how you modeled the bones; very good. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, I wasn't really happy with the lighting in this. It was sort of a compromise between realistic and artistic. Realistically, if you take Vue to "unseen places," it's probably going to be pretty dark. LOL! But if you add lights, the viewer starts wondering where the heck the light's coming from, if it's supposed to be someplace "nobody has gone before." So my original plan to show a cave deep underground became a cave that opened to broad daylight. And it was still too dark, so I added one light at the back of the cave, and sort of hoped it wouldn't be too noticeable. Or at least that no one would wonder where it was coming from.
Maybe I should have made a river of glowing lava running through the cave, instead of water...
