Description

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat and it's time for the company Xmas card! The bosses at work saw the 'Captain Corey' card I did when my son was born and asked me to produce the Christmas card to be sent out to all of our clients. This is the result. A digital photo of our premises (Pixel House) was adjusted slightly in Photoshop 7 (I tinkered with the hue and brightness) and then taken into Painter 7. Here it was cloned using the captured bristle brush and then smeared with 'water'. It was then taken back into Photoshop 7 where I cleaned up the details and added fairy lights and snow (using a custom brush I made for the job). My aim was to create a seasonal feel by contrasting the cold blues of the exterior with the warmth of the light emanating from the window. I struggled to try and capture the movement and randomness of snowfall but am pleased with the final results. Comments welcome. Thanks for viewing.

you've created a very fitting image. It's delicate, and full of real atmosphere.
