Description
A JAPANESE SERIES
The story behind this series reads as follows.
During a visit of relatives some weeks ago I noticed an old tin box (I was told that the box, made in The Netherlands, is about 50 years old) with beautiful but very tiny drawings of little cherry trees and blossoms as well as some small Japanese buildings. These drawings were only some centimeters in maximum size.
I took some photos with a Canon G5 digicam with maximum resolution (2592 x 1944 pixel) and used the photos as templates for postwork in PSP. The first image of the little series can be viewed now.
In this one I added some coloured areas around the cherry blossoms before the effect filter work was done.

Japanese art is always inspiring. Here you did a colour enhancing that is indeed western (strong and flashy) showing a merging between the inspirations that I like.
