Heavy piece here. I see him, her, and a lot more. So many forms blending a composition. Love this, take care.

Brilliant! The way the forms slowly coalesce the more one stares.

"Rabelais has put the matter more clearly than perhaps any Italian. We quote him, indeed, unwillingly in these pages. What the great, baroque Frenchman gives us is a picture of what the Renaissance would be without form and without beauty...." [J. Burckhardt, The Civilization of the Renaissance In Italy tr. Middlemore]. Wrong about Rabelais lacking "form" and "beauty" surelythough it is no large surprise the Swiss did not see it, though he did see the greatness.

Still, Burckhardt (himself great) makes an interesting point.

A tour de force of surface, different kinds of depth, subtle color, and hidden imagestaking several views over hours (at least) to chart. The centrifuge whirrs, but the centerwherever it isholds. "There must have been some magic in the old silk hat they found..." And look at that fencing, hehe....

MASTERPIECE!

Foliage running to metal. Glances at breaks in reality. Each forges a sign of SoulEatar. Familiar as crystal.
