Description

This is an idea for a space vessel sailing on the solar wind to Mars. Of course it has regular thrust but it is aumented in mid flight by the solar sails. It has a steamlined rentry vehicle to land on the surface. Done with a lot of primitives booleans impored mesh and terain to make the final model. All modelling by myself. All painted textures also with some prcedural textures too.

Very cool looking ship you got there! Nice idea. I don't know about the textures you used on the 2 rectangles that are angled on each side of the ship though. It doesn't look to scale, keep at it. ;-)

Those are two terrain models to make a sail type shape. I like lots of color. I do like your imnages Bambam but I have to have color with mine. The texture was an attempt to get the sort of wrinkled gold you see on the lunar lander and other modern spacecraft also it is a nice color. I am not going to build it make it look good.
