Description
Well, this is my first real attempt at any modeling in Lightwave, the first time im using anything more advanced than Hammapatch to make a real model, so please bear that in mind.
Anyway, this is a 3d model of my head that I'm working on, and I personally think its starting to look pretty good. Id love to hear any tips or advice anyone might be able to give, as well as just general comments on how its looking so far.

Hi Dread, i got good news/bad news. The good news is, you really seem to grasp the way to model a head! It's looking really good! The bad news: You should always create quads(at least always try) when creating a subpatched surface. reason being, when you want to make facial expressions, you will get those unsightly points showing were the 5 sides meet: P Also, your topology will not be easy to work with, check this forum for more on that subject. Basically what this means is that you want to model "rings" of poly's around the mouth and eyes. This will make morphing much easier! Anyway, like i said, it's a fantastic job capturing the head in what you did already, which is the hard part for most people, so the crossover to the new way should be easy for you. Best of luck and welcome! Pete
