Description

I tentatively named it LV-426 in respect for 'Aliens', though it is not supposed to depict the same planet from the movie. I was going for "NASA just discovered this world and it has a classification rather than a true name". I'm still working on it to create more illusion of distance. The large planet is actually very far away fromt the smaller one, and the nebula is extremely far from the large planet. But they look really close. It was created in Bryce 5 and took about 9 hours to render 1024x768 on a P4 2.2ghz with superfine antialiasing.
