How did you do the awesome rocks? I am doign a forest scene with a river running through and I am just using a bitmap for the same effect but it looks quite flat from some angles. How did you create and texture them all?

Wow, this rocks!!! :) For the amount of rocks/stones, I personally think the scaling is too high, or the trees and animals should be much bigger. It looks like perfect "grind" (like we call that in the Netherlands) to me.

thats a nice scene. one thing ive always wondered about your work is how your trees are made, they look great. if its a plugin or third party you should share the wealth, if your modeling this is the part i plead for a tutorial. i hate making trees

Thanks everyone :) Add some displacement for the stones. Trees and plants... well I use a few different programs for them. Xfrog, plant studio, tree pro, and I also toss in a few 2d trees and plants to fill the scene up yet keep the polys down.I use a lot of 2d leaves. I like to blur the alpha a bit to soften the edges of them. These files kill my computer. I had to drop the rez of the output file because it kept crashing.
