Description

This is the planet Alphica, a terraforming project performed by the residents of earth in the year 3021. In the early stages massive amount of alge are blloming on the landscape that was once barren and rocky. The moisture from the new atmosphere has caused the landscape to shatter creating some odd rock formations. This is the first planet I have made so far (well the most complete one). The landforms are mine (with the help of pushinfaders), the sky is mine, the water is muddy pools from the library with minor tweaks, and the materials are from my favorite planet, Chouro by Slav but with a lot of tweaking. I am thinking of adding mist next, and there are still some spots that have ugly spikey artifacts.

Cool planet. Great concept, terraforming on the home computer, especially when it shows results 1,000 years in the future. The mist is starting to form now as the algae respirates.
