Good alpenglow. I like the fading foregrounds leading up to the mountain. It gives an enormous feeling to the peak. (Where is mount Hood? USA?)Thanks.

Mt. Hood is in Oregon, USA. The city of Portland has a great view of it. It's in the Cascades, a range of majestic volcanic giants. I was fortunate enough to vacation in the area and saw many of the Cascades, actually drove up Mt. Hood. These mountains are definitely breathtaking and are also quite amazing to see from a plane. This photo captures it very well. Let's hope it doesn't go the way of Mt. St. Helens.
